It is not hard to find cheap flights now if one is flexible on his or her travel plans. All airlines around the world offer tickets that are often discounted and one can saves as much as up to 50 % on normal full published fares.

Whether your traveling domestic or on international carriers, every airlines intend to send full load of flights. Loosing even on single empty seat is a total loss to them.

Shop multiple travel sites. Some sites will offer better deals than others. Check out at least three to four sites before buying any airline tickets. Check out on the major online airline ticket sites, travel agents and even the airlines directly. You never know who is offering what. There are always surprises when buying airline discount tickets.

Be smart by shopping well in advance of your flight, if possible, be flexible in your travel dates. There is always a price difference for off season and peak season travel. Peak season is typically summer and holiday times when all schools and colleges are closed for holidays. Many travels with families and children during that busy times and demand is extra ordinary high for this time of the year.

Check out if there are travel packages. Often these packages are cheaper with air and hotels combined than buying the air ticket alone. Many hotels to fill in their vacancy offer good value directly to airlines and airlines too are interested in such deals in order to sell their empty seats. It is a win-win situation for all. Travelers get the airline discount tickets plus the free hotel stay.

Guidelines to Obtain Discount Airline Tickets

Sarah Jose asked:

An average business traveler may enjoy china business travel for various reasons. One reason being Chinese government has rigid rules on airline industry, controlling jet fuel and ticket prices. There is limited number of weekly flights permitted between U.S. and China according to a treaty. Among permitted flights, half are by American carriers and half by Chinese.

Booking online tickets to china is one of the best shopping methods. To get flight information you can call major airlines. They will be happy to help you. Through online you can check hotel accommodations, as reservations can be made in advance. Do advance booking before 14-days.

Most airlines offer non-stop flights. Business class flight is considered best for business travelers. Even others can enjoy this experience. You can get information about availability of flights through websites. There are various websites who sell tickets online.

As far as possible, carry your personal belongings like clothes and toiletries in a carry bag. In U.S. airports security is tight, chances are your luggage may get lost or misplaced upon arrival. It may take a day’s time to find your luggage, in the mean time you can use the clothes that you have in your carry bag. Make sure your luggage is insured and that each piece is clearly labeled with contact information of the hotel where you are staying.

There are many business travelers who want cheap business flights to china. But they do not know how to find cheap flights to china. Here are a few steps that will help in finding discount airline tickets.

*One usual way is to visit discount internet airfare sites. There are various websites that offer discount.
*Sign up for email newsletters with the airlines you frequently use as they will send out advance notice of fare sales as you are their loyal readers.
*If flying abroad, double check fares with a travel agent as he can search for tickets in the cheapest fare class. You can get best deals with agencies that specialize in tickets to a certain area, for example: a travel agency in Chinatown might be the best place to buy an airline ticket if you are heading to Asia.
*If a person is under the age of 26 and/or a student should first search for discounted student tickets.
*Book your flight midweek, especially mornings. First two days (Monday and Tuesday) of the week are considered hectic booking days so there is heavy demand of airline tickets. During midweek, travel flights usually offer huge discounts as booking is reduced. If you book tickets on busy days, chances are you may not get discounts.
*If you are traveling with an elder or minor, chances are you may seek a bargain with the airline company.

Should I wait for Summer Cash & Miles from Northwest Airlines website?

SecretAgent4777 asked:

The Spring Cash & Miles only applies if you fly between April 10 and June 9, 2007. Not only that, but all travel that involves the Spring Cash & Miles must be completed by June 12, 2007. The tickets must be purchased no later than May 26, 2007. But what if you aren’t flying until late June? Is it worth waiting until the Summer Cash & Miles to redeem your miles for a cheaper flight to Europe? I suspect that more people will travel during the summer, so it will be hard to find a less expensive flight to Europe without a frequent flyer discount. Has anyone had WorldPerks long enough to know whether or not the Summer Cash & Miles is worth waiting for? Or should I just go ahead and buy a ticket to Europe and put more miles on my account? Thank you in advance for your responses.
