how do i get reimbursed for my distress by a travel agent?

I was planning a trip to india since Jan , for travelling in july,since i knew that would be busy season i booked my ticket using my miles in feb and then paid a travel agency called flyhub.com based in san francisco to get another ticket for my 10 yr old son for the same date and flight.
They charged me on my amex and confirmed my request and told me i would get the same flight i requested, guess what, they kept making me run around the bushes for 4 months and finally the manager completely stopped communication, no replies and no answer to my calls,since now only 20 days were left to my departure(July 1st), completely depresssed and psychologically broken i went ahead and purchased a new ticket from the airlines, but regretfully they had no seats available on the same flight so i had to buy a tickets for him a week before my departure.now he will travel alone,and apart from paying additional for a ticket,that i had already paid for, i also had to incur abour $500 additional for expedited passport and visa service,(listen to this ,the manager of the agency knew my son needed to renew his passport)and also i had to purchase an additional domestic ticket for him for double the regular discounted price, since his trip was preponed.(I ARRIVE IN MUMBAI AND FLY TO MY FINAL DESTINATION FROM THERE).The airline that i am flying(air france) does not go to my final destination,Kolkata.
How do i get compensated for this mess,The agency name is FLYHUB.COM.
